November is here and it’s starting to feel like it! Luckily for you, there’s no shortage of great things to do. Check out this list for something new every day in November.
- Enjoy crafts and chicken during the Chick-fil-A Plainfield Craft Time, 9:30-10:30 am.
- Open Gym at The Flipzone from 10-11 am will get those wiggles out and have your kids begging you to sign them up for classes!
- The Great Migration Challenge at Eagle Creek Park is an obstacle course designed to teach school aged kiddos about migratory birds and the hazards that they face. It takes place Fridays at 4 pm and Saturdays at 1 pm.
- Cheer on the runners of one of the 20 largest races in the US at the CNO Financial Indianapolis Monumental Marathon.
- Explore a Native American village with the Strawtown Enclosure Tour. This village in Noblesville’s Strawtown Koteewi Park was inhabited over 700 years ago!
- Second Helpings at Pride Park provides hot meals for those in need nightly. Sign up to help!
- It’s discount admission day to all attractions at White River State Park.
- Check out the Sheridan Holiday Open House from 5:30-8 pm and enjoy snacks, drinks, and shopping!
- Thursdays are $5 Family Night at The Urban Chalkboard. Come in to play and enjoy wine, beer, and $1 pizza by the slice!
- Head to the Indiana State Museum for Science at Play and explore the large collection of science kits and hands-on activities.
- Trek to Fort Wayne for the annual Matilda Jane Warehouse Sale.
- Scrooge the Musical put on by the Agape Performing Arts Company runs November 10-12.
- Throwback to your own childhood with $3 Roller Skating at Skateland from 6-9pm.
- Every month there is a different nature-related story, activity, and craft for preschoolers in the $5 Jungle Tales program at Garfield Conservatory.
- If you have a Wild Kratts fan don’t miss Wild Kratts Live! at the Murat Theater.
- Journey through the regions of Africa and get ready to move your body during African Dance at the Eagle Branch Indianapolis Public Library at 10:30 am.
- It’s Family Night Out at Goldfish Swim School! $5 a person (or $15 for the family) gets you raffle, snacks, and crafts. Remember to pre-register!
- Watch candy canes being made at the Martinsville Candy Kitchen all day, every Saturday until Christmas.
- Take it easy at Chuck E. Cheese for Sensory Sensitive Sunday. From 9-11 am there will be dimmed lights, less noise, with show and music turned off or down.
- Kids grades K-5 can take in the Charlie Brown Thanksgiving movie and enjoy a Snoopy’s Thanksgiving Feast at the Greenfield Public Library.
- Every Tuesday is Family Game Night at Game Paradise. Kids play free when accompanied by an adult!
- Head downtown to see A Christmas Carol put on by the Indiana Repertory Theatre. This classic tale is always charming and is sure to be well-done when the IRT is on the job!
- Thursdays mean SIlly Songs & Stories at 4 Kids Books & Toys in Zionsville. Activities include stories, music, rhythm instruments, and movement.
- Visit this historic building in Franklin for a showing of Home Alone at the Artcraft Theater. The show plays at 2 pm and 7:30 pm Friday and Saturday, and 2 pm on Sunday.
- Bundle up and head out for Cars and Coffee at Gateway Cars of Indianapolis. Check out some fancy vehicles while enjoying cars and, you guessed it, coffee!
- If you aren’t too busy having breakfast with Santa today then head over to Kids Yoga at Kompose in Broad Ripple. The 3:30pm class is recommended for kids ages 5-10 and the cost is $10 per child.
- Enjoy this FREE superhero themed math activity during the Fishers Library Full Steam Ahead Homeschool Enrichment program from 1-2 pm.
- Peewinkle’s Holiday Cabaret at the Indiana State Museum is a holiday tradition for many and a bargain at only $5 per person (ages 2 and under are free)!
- Head out to Christmas at the Zoo and see some of your favorite animals in addition to lights, music, and more!
- Science Sprouts at the Wonderlab in Bloomington is a weekly science enrichment program especially for toddlers and their families. It’s worth the trip!
